Wednesday Weigh-in – The Start of a New Challenge!

Sisterhood 21-Days ChallengeI was so excited to check out the Sisterhood to see the start of a new challenge – The 21 Day Challenge!  It just added to the fact that I had a great weigh-in this morning!  Down to 147.4!  YAY!!!!

Here is some info on the 21 Day Challenge:

The 21 Day Challenge.
What?!  What’s the 21 Day Challenge you ask?
Have you heard the old saying ‘it takes 21 days to form a new habit’? For some of us, *ahem* it takes longer than 21 days.  We’re going to see if we can successfully form new habits over the next three weeks, and we’re going to do it together, because together, we can do ANYTHING!
So stop and think about it for a moment. What new habit would you like to form? Here are some great habits that come to our minds:
  1. Water intake = minimum of 64 ounces a day
  2. Fruits and vegetables = 5 servings a day
  3. Dairy = 3 low-fat servings a day
  4. Eat breakfast
  5. Take a multi-vitamin
Feel free to come up with your own habits, of course.
So for the next 3 weeks, we’ll be asking each of you to choose 1-3 new habits that you would like to form.  You will still weigh-in on Wednesdays but you will also report how you are doing with your new habits, or forming your new habits.
By incorporating one or more new habits into your daily life, it should affect your weight, and we want to know how much. We’re nosy like that. And yes, we are encouraging you to try and form as many new habits as you can. It’s good for you and your body!
So here are my habit goals:
1- Water Intake = 48 ounces (I drink like 2 now so I will start with 48 and work up from there!)
2- Fruits & Vegetables = 5 servings a day
3- Sit-ups & Push-ups = Do 50 sit-ups (reg & reverse) and 25 push-ups every night before bed

Here are my stats:
Starting weight: 164.4

Last week’s weigh-in:  150.0
Today’s weigh-in:  147.4
Change:  -2.6

Overall Change: -17

I love hearing from you!
