I cannot believe this challenge is over already!!! It completely flew by! I have felt a little disconnected towards the end of the challenge just because of my medical leave but I feel honored to be a part of such a wonderful team of awesome ladies! The next challenge starts next week and it is an individual challenge and looks awesome so if you are looking for an awesome way to kick off the new year, check out the new challenge The Power of One.
This week marks 1 year since joining the Sisterhood and what a journey it has been! I plan on snapping some pictures on Christmas Eve to compare to my last Christmas Eve picture (which finally gave me a very swift kick in the rear to get in action).
So here is the final rundown of my goals:
- Stay off the scale except on Wednesdays for check-in! This is all about non-scale success, yo! – Check. I even hated getting on the scale today because it can be so frustrating when trying to maintain not freaking out over the slightest gain. I’m thinking I may ditch the scale for awhile and focus on toning up and inches. I did maintain over the course of the entire challenge! Well, actually I’m down .4 lbs from the start of the challenge if that counts!
- Operation Quit-Soda-For-Good. Its time to get rid of the chemical-ridden deliciousness for good! There are plenty of other delicious drinks that are actually GOOD for me that I could be drinking! Not quite there yet but I have stocked my fridge with flavored water at work to help make the transition permanent.
- Do low-impact cardio 3-4 times a week. Not yet but I have a plan (which I guess is better than absolutely nothing). Now that I am back at work, I plan on heading to the campus gym on my lunch break to use the treadmill and lift on my lunch breaks. Why not make good use of that hour instead of driving home (all of 1 mile) to watch Y&R when I can use that time better? Plus I have a fridge in my office where I can keep my lunch and eat at my desk after the gym. Sounds like a great plan huh?
- Add strength training and/or yoga, 2-3 times a week. See Above.
Here are my stats:
Starting weight: 164.4
Challenge starting weight: 125.4
Last week’s weigh-in: 125
Today’s weigh-in: 125
Change: -0
Challenge Change: -.4
Overall Change: -39.4
great job on the maintenance. I workout during my lunch hour and love it. Its a very effiecent use of your time and its nice to be able to just go home after work!
Great job on the maintenance. I wish I had a job that I could work out durning lunch. The best I can ever do is go for a walk when it is freaking cold outside. You will continue to do great, I know it!
Great job on this challenge!! Hope you have a great, healthy Christmas!!
Woo to the hoo for maintaining! That’s awesome. And it sounds like you have a great plan in place for your fitness piece.
I’d say you did great this challenge! Woo-hoo for maintenance during the holidays! (That woo-hoo was actually for both of us-MWAH!)
