Burst into Summer Check-in #1

Burst Into Summer Challenge

Its time for check-in #1 for the Burst into Summer Challenge over at the Sisterhood!

This week’s mini-challenge was water consumption. I didn’t get off to a great start but definitely made some big changes the last two days! I bought a new water bottle that has a dial to track refills to keep you motivated to keep drinking! The best part is that now Abby is asking for water to drink! Score!

Because of the pain and flare, I haven’t been able to join in the bootcamp class or any exercising. Merely walking during the day is a workout at the moment. The substitute meds haven’t been working and the endo flare has me extremely bloated. All of my measurements are exactly the same except for my waist which is up almost an inch thanks to bloat. Fabulous. But I’m not changing my stats for that since I know it will go down in a couple days.

But I did hop on the scale and it said….

134.2!

I lost 0.8lbs which isn’t much but a great start in the right direction! If I keep up the water and keep ditching the soda, hopefully I’ll see the number drop even more!

So here are my stats:

Starting Stats:

Weight: 135

Chest: 34″

Waist: 27″

Bicep: 11.5″

Current:

Burst into Summer Kick-off

Burst Into Summer Challenge

Today kick’s off the summer’s new challenge at the Sisterhood – Burst Into Summer! This is a team challenge lasting 11 weeks so I’m really excited to get started!

I’m on a team with 4 other awesome ladies and together we are the Fierce 5! This is my 7th challenge with the Sisterhood and quite a few of them have been team challenges and I have never been on a team with any of these ladies so its really great to meet new people and support each other as we strive to reach our goals this summer!

While I wouldn’t mind dropping off 5-8lbs (that I’ve gained back since the New Year), I am going to try to focus on toning and fitness this challenge. Hopefully the weight loss will be a perk! So while I will weigh in, my goal will be in inches! I also hope to kick the soda habit for good since its not good for me or my IC! Just a bunch of empty calories and acid!

My Starting Stats:

Weight: 135

Chest: 34″

Waist: 27″

Hips: 37″

Bicep: 11.5″

Spring in 2 Action Week #4

Spring In2 Action

It hasn’t really been a good week for me health-wise. I’ve been plagued with migraines and fatigue since Sunday. I’ve lived off of Kix cereal the last two days because of nausea. In the last 5 days, we have had only 1 day of sunshine. Today its raining buckets which is leaving my joints longing for my bed and a heating pad. Hubs is worried but sadly I think its just a part of life that I’ve got to learn to deal with. I just wish it didn’t include having to lay down every evening at 7pm.

The good news is that I posted a loss this week! Not a big loss but I’ll take what I can get. I’m down to 133.5 which puts me right back where I started. It definitely could have something to do with living off Kix the last couple days but I’m just going to take it as a loss and enjoy it. I’ve been trying to make better decisions and listen to my body for when I am actually hungry versus just in the mood to eat so hopefully that will lead to more loss in the future.

Challenge Stats:

Starting Weight: 133.4

Goal Weight: 128

Current Weight: 133.5

Change: +0.1
