Let’s Talk about You Tuesdays – The Hair Edition

I’m going to be honest.  I am glad that you lovely readers can’t see me at the moment as my hair is seriously a hot mess.  I am way overdue for a cut and color.  I had an appointment over a week ago but thanks to this unending flare, I had to cancel (boo!) but thankfully I have my appointment this evening!  Woo-hoo! So I’ve taken a couple minutes this morning to flip through some hair magazines looking for ideas.  I know what I want for the color but I need inspiration for a cut.  My hair hasn’t been this long in 10 years! Its thick and wild so I need ideas to tame the beast.

So here are todays’ questions:

1. Do you color your hair? Home/Salon? All over color or highlights?

2. Fess up – have you ever cut your own bangs?  Disaster or success?

3. Do you stick with one particular stylist or whoever is available?

4. What is the craziest thing you have ever done to your hair?

5. What is the biggest goof-up you’ve ever done to your hair (come on ladies – we’ve all done it! ok maybe not as much as I have!)

6. Do you tend to stick with the same style or change it every time you get it cut?

7. How often to you get your hair cut?

Bonus: Pick out a hairstyle for me!  I’m pretty daring so let’s get creative!

This week’s Let’s Talk About You Tuesday was inspired by last night’s trip to Lowe’s.  They were putting up Christmas decorations.  Seriously.  I’m all about getting in the Christmas spirit early but September is a little early for me but let’s go with it!  Here are this week’s Christmas-inspired questions 🙂

1. When do you start listening to Christmas music?

2. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

3. Do you make a list or just buy when you feel inspired?

4. Do you spread out your shopping or get it done in a weekend?

5. Do you venture out on Black Friday?  Are you a crazy early bird or wait for the crowds to die down?  Or do you just wait on Cyber Monday?

6. When do you put up your Christmas tree?

7.  Clear or multi-colored lights?

2. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’ve bought 1 gift for Abby but that’s it.  Maybe I’ll get started this weekend.

3. Do you make a list or just buy when you feel inspired?  Make a general list but let inspiration speak to!

4. Do you spread out your shopping or get it done in a weekend? My wallet forces me to spread it out!

5. Do you venture out on Black Friday?  Are you a crazy early bird or wait for the crowds to die down?  Or do you just wait on Cyber Monday? Of course!  I’m not out at the butt-crack of dawn but relatively early to check out deals.  Its mostly just for fun!

6. When do you put up your Christmas tree?  Weekend before Thanksgiving since we usually travel.

7.  Clear or multi-colored lights? Multi-colored per the insistence of my husband 🙂

Here are mine:

1- My left leg is slightly shorter than my right.

2- I have to lock the bathroom door twice.

3- My family  has mexican every year for Christmas Eve dinner.

4- My family nickname is Pig.

5- My first trip on a plane totaled 22 hours of flying time (VA to New Zealand).

6- I can out-burp my husband.

7- I haven’t had my natural hair color since the 11th grade.
