I am stuck close to home with a case of pink eye (as if my immune system needed anything else to fight) and if you have turned on the TV or radio lately, holiday planning is in full swing! I will be the first to admit that I have had Christmas music playing at my desk this week at work but I was surprised (and happy!) to find it playing on the radio this afternoon! But if you are like me, time and energy are hard to come by (as for some reason those two things seem the first to go when it comes to chronic illness). Regardless of what the media has to say about it, Thanksgiving is right around the corner (and I am counting the days for precious days off from work spent with family). Side note – why is it that Thanksgiving gets skipped?
