This week’s Let’s Talk About You Tuesday was inspired by last night’s trip to Lowe’s. They were putting up Christmas decorations. Seriously. I’m all about getting in the Christmas spirit early but September is a little early for me but let’s go with it! Here are this week’s Christmas-inspired questions 🙂

2. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’ve bought 1 gift for Abby but that’s it. Maybe I’ll get started this weekend.
3. Do you make a list or just buy when you feel inspired? Make a general list but let inspiration speak to!
4. Do you spread out your shopping or get it done in a weekend? My wallet forces me to spread it out!
5. Do you venture out on Black Friday? Are you a crazy early bird or wait for the crowds to die down? Or do you just wait on Cyber Monday? Of course! I’m not out at the butt-crack of dawn but relatively early to check out deals. Its mostly just for fun!
6. When do you put up your Christmas tree? Weekend before Thanksgiving since we usually travel.
7. Clear or multi-colored lights? Multi-colored per the insistence of my husband 🙂

Normally spread out but this year is going to be a problem

I don’t even go grocery shopping on Black Friday. I learned a long time ago that stores put their prices up two weeks prior to a ‘sale”. The sale price is often higher than the regular price two weeks prior.

white:come December I’m going to have to post a picture of my tree. We have been doing it CFIDS style for a few years now and will definitely do it this year. I use a lawn ornament tree and hang some balls on it and call it a day. We started this cuz the family wasn’t interested in helping me put everything away afterwards so I started doing a minimalist Christmas several years ago.
I wish they would concentrate on one season at a time. Let’s get done with Halloween and then the Christmas decorations can go up.
I do listen to Christmas music year round though. 🙂
I’m not sure what my christmas traditions are, i’ve been too sick the last two years to do anything.
I will just be excited this year if i get to shop and put up a christmas tree and not spend any time in the hospital.
We bought a pre-lit, pre-decorated, artificial tree this last year and it makes decorating so much easier! We frequently travel at Christmas (family out of state) and I always debate whether or not to bother with decor but I do love having the house decked out for Christmas!

It plays on my iPod shuffle year-round, and it drives everyone nuts. But I start listening to it more regularly around Thanksgiving.
