Let’s Talk About YOU Tuesday

Photobucket

It’s that time of week again! Another round of 7 questions for you to answer and the opportunity to ask me anything!

This weeks questions:

1-What was the last movie you saw in the theater?  Would you recommend it?

2-What was your favorite class in college (or high school)?

3-What would be your dream car?

4-What has been your longest road trip (must include where you started and where you ended up!)?

5-What is your favorite style of jeans?  Skinnies? Boot-cut?  Gasp Taper?

6-If you were given $500 to spend TODAY, what would you purchase?

7-Which do you prefer – milk chocolate or dark chocolate?

I almost forgot!  My answers!

1-What was the last movie you saw in the theater?  Would you recommend it?  Inception.  Awesome movie.  Highly recommend!

2-What was your favorite class in college (or high school)?  College – Music Theory (yes I’m a dork)  Seminary –  Pastoral Theology

3-What would be your dream car? Pre-kid – mustang convertible; Now as a mom – Toyota Highlander or Sienna (yes I claim wanting a minivan)

4-What has been your longest road trip (must include where you started and where you ended up!)?  Family vacation – Virginia to Arizona and back!  Took 3 weeks to do it but it was an amazing experience (looking back at it of course!)

5-What is your favorite style of jeans?  Skinnies? Boot-cut?  Gasp Taper? I still dig flare legs but will take boot cut.  Not confident that I could rock skinnies.

6-If you were given $500 to spend TODAY, what would you purchase?  New clothes!  My work pants are sagging but I don’t want to buy new clothes until I lose this last 10 lbs!

7-Which do you prefer – milk chocolate or dark chocolate?  Dark!

Don’t forget to grab the button and link up!

1-What was the last movie you saw in the theater? Would you recommend it? I saw Inception last week, and it was one of the best movies I have ever seen! I loved it. I love anything to do with dreams.

2-What was your favorite class in college (or high school)? Life drawing!

3-What would be your dream car? Hmm. That’s a tough one. Anything that’s a nice color.

4-What has been your longest road trip (must include where you started and where you ended up!)? I don’t get to travel much, but my family (parents, 4 younger brothers, and one of their girlfriends) went on a road trip from New Hampshire to Chicago. Such a looong drive, especially with endo. I thought I was going to die.

5-What is your favorite style of jeans? Skinnies? Boot-cut? *Gasp* Taper? Any kind that fit! Usually I have to hem at least 6 inches off, because I’m under 5 ft. tall.

6-If you were given $500 to spend TODAY, what would you purchase?
I would probably send it toward my college payment.

7-Which do you prefer – milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Dark.

I saw Inception last week too and loved it! I want to go back and see it again to see if there is anything I missed! I feel you on having to hem your jeans! I’m 5’4″ and still everything is too long so I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for you!

1-What was the last movie you saw in the theater? Would you recommend it? I don’t remember the last time I set foot in a theatre. It was many mnay months ago. Whatever it was I think I liked it though. I have a vague recollection of talking with hubby afterwards.

2-What was your favorite class in college (or high school)? Drawing and sculpture

3-What would be your dream car? A limo with a driver

4-What has been your longest road trip (must include where you started and where you ended up!)? Boton to Boston via Lake Ontario. My family traveled in an RV for a week and drove around Lake Ontario. When we got home we all went to opposite ends of the house, as far away from each other as we could get. LOL

5-What is your favorite style of jeans? Skinnies? Boot-cut? *Gasp* Taper? skinnies but I also look great in bellbottoms (yes, I’m that old)

6-If you were given $500 to spend TODAY, what would you purchase? an ergonomic keyboard, mouse and TV remote

7-Which do you prefer – milk chocolate or dark chocolate? depends upon my mood

Limo with a driver! That is AWESOME! What a road trip! After my family’s big road trip, we were ready for our own separate rooms when we got home too! Too bad at the time, it still meant sharing a room with my sister!

Yeah, it rained every single day on our one week trip in the RV. So we were literally bumping off each other for the whole week. We couldn’t get away from each other fast enough when we got back to the house. What makes it extra funny is that we didn’t even realize that we split up so fast. It cracks me up everytime I think about it now.

1-What was the last movie you saw in the theater? Would you recommend it?
Toy Story 3 and yes, but as a college student it was sad…
2-What was your favorite class in college (or high school)?
It’s hard to pick one favorite… probably my war novels class taught by a hippy
3-What would be your dream car?
    A blue 300M
4-What has been your longest road trip (must include where you started and where you ended up!)?
26 hours- Orlando to Milwaukee (on a coach bus)
5-What is your favorite style of jeans? Skinnies? Boot-cut? *Gasp* Taper?
Really, anything that fits in the waist AND legs.
6-If you were given $500 to spend TODAY, what would you purchase?
    Textbooks…
7-Which do you prefer – milk chocolate or dark chocolate?

  4. 1-What was the last movie you saw in the theater?  Would you recommend it?
Iron Man 2 and yes I would recommend it

2-What was your favorite class in college (or high school)?
That’s a tough one. I’ve taken some great classes! I have loved all of my literature classes (literature major) and also every philosophy class I have taken (philosophy minor)

3-What would be your dream car?
sky blue Lotus Elise! I like to keep my dreams reasonable/attainable 🙂

4-What has been your longest road trip (must include where you started and where you ended up!)?
When I was in middle school (I think) my family took a road trip from west Texas through New Mexico and Arizona all the way to northern California. The whole thing took two weeks and it was so much fun! I don’t think I would do it again, but I’m glad I did it once!

5-What is your favorite style of jeans?  Skinnies? Boot-cut?  *Gasp* Taper?
Um…. Ok so I’m going to admit my failure as a girl and admit that I have no idea what style I wear. I just wear jeans that look good on. I don’t like skinnies, though. I do know that much.

6-If you were given $500 to spend TODAY, what would you purchase?
Ugh I would pay bills. I know that’s a lame answer, but if I’m being honest, that’s what it would go to. If I didn’t have a ton of bills, then I’d splurge and buy myself new kitchen stuff. I love buying kitchen stuff!!

7-Which do you prefer – milk chocolate or dark chocolate?
    milk chocolate

My family did the drive out west thing too! We drove from VA to Arizona and made it a 3 week trip (we went south to Texas and then headed west!). While it was long and I definitely got sick on being crammed in a van, I would trade those memories for anything! And I completely hear you on the bills! I love kitchen stuff too!

Is that what you meant by “grab the button and link up”? While I’ve been writting a blog for many years I’m new to networking and linking them together. I have no idea how to do this. Hence I answered in the comments section.

I want to see Inception so badly! Heard great things about it, and seems rare that good flicks are in the theater.
