September 11, 2001 is a day that I will never forget. I remember what I wore. I remember what I had for breakfast. I remember where I sat in chapel when the campus minister announced that a second plane had hit the World Trade Center.
May we take a moment today to pause and pray for the families of those that were lost, those rescue workers who now battle cancer and other illness as a result of their bravery, our leaders, and those serving to protect our freedom. I know that as I set foot on a plane bound for Florida this morning, I will take nothing from granted.
