Definitely wasn’t looking forward to this check-in. The last week has been a HUGE rollercoaster of emotions so very rarely was the challenge even on my radar (sorry ladies!). I feel bad for my team because I feel like I really let them down this week. My mind was elsewhere but I’m determined to not make it a repeat performance.
Here are the results of my challenge goals:
- Stay off the scale except on Wednesdays for check-in! This is all about non-scale success, yo! – Check. Only hopped on this morning.
- Operation Quit-Soda-For-Good. Its time to get rid of the chemical-ridden deliciousness for good! There are plenty of other delicious drinks that are actually GOOD for me that I could be drinking! Not too successful. Need to kick it up a notch, especially since I am at home now.
- Do low-impact cardio 3-4 times a week. N/A
- Add strength training and/or yoga, 2-3 times a week. N/A. – But just to prove that I’m back on the wagon – I started off my day with yoga this morning!
So onto the weigh-in! 126.4 so a gain of 1.4 over Thanksgiving week. Boo! I’m not very happy about it at all. My mom worked like crazy to make Thanksgiving totally gluten-free so I didn’t have to miss out on anything! Which I don’t necessarily think was in my favor! LOL! But I was very grateful of all of the work that she did for me (since I’m the only Celiac in the family). But next week that number will be back down darnit!
