Wednesday Check-in: Holiday Hoedown #1!

Holiday Hoedown Challenge

This post will be short & sweet as we are currently getting ready to pack the car for a roadtrip home to VA to spend the holidays with my family! Plus I am very sleep deprived thanks to insomnia sponsored by the makers of prednisone. Thank you academy for that.

So onto business – my fitness goal for the week started out great and ended flat – I only ended up with 60 minutes. I’m really really bummed about it but after my drs appointments I have had to modify some things so hopefully this will be the only “blah” week.

My non-fitness goal was to write out my goals for the challenge (which had to be modified yesterday). Here they are and how I did:

  1. Stay off the scale except on Wednesdays for check-in! This is all about non-scale success, yo! – did well only hopped on 1 extra time
  2. Operation Quit-Soda-For-Good. Its time to get rid of the chemical-ridden deliciousness for good! There are plenty of other delicious drinks that are actually GOOD for me that I could be drinking!didn’t completely avoid it but did considerably cut back
  3. Do low-impact cardio 3-4 times a week. I got in 2 days of C25k.
  4. Add strength training and/or yoga, 2-3 times a week. to be added.

So onto the weigh-in!  125 even!

Here are my stats:

Starting weight: 164.4

Challenge starting weight: 125.4

Last week’s weigh-in: 125.4
Today’s weigh-in: 125.
Change: -0.4

Overall Change: -39.4

I’m sorry you had a rough week… I too didn’t exercise as much as I should have.

    Congrats on your loss!

I am sorry you had a hard week! but you did get some minutes in & lost something. I think that is awesome, especially since you don’t feel well. Have a wonderful trip to see your family!

Looks like even though the week was rough, that you made some progress. And really, progress is what it’s all about.

great goals. hopefully next week you won’t spend hours waiting in the doctor’s office and will be able to tackle c25K as well as some other exercise stuff 🙂
