It is important for everyone to get a good night’s sleep but if you have chronic illness, you know what happens when you don’t get enough rest. The occurrence of flares seems to dramatically increase when you aren’t well rested so its important to take every step possible to ensure a good night’s sleep.
So when I was offered a chance to review a product from the company, Relax The Back, I jumped on it. This company provides all types of ergonomic products to help alleviate back pain from pillows to desk chairs to recliners. I chose to review the Contourside Sleeping Pillow. I really struggle finding the balance in firmness in a pillow without it feeling like I’m sleeping on a rock so I was definitely eager to try out this new pillow when it arrived!
This pillow is designed specifically for side sleepers. I side sleep the majority of the time but tend to roll as well. I felt just as supported when I would sleep on my back as I would my side. The pillow uses memory-foam design so it felt as though it was completely made for me! The only thing I had to adjust to was that I could not use the pillow and sleep on my stomach (which I’ve been told to quit by my chiropractor so it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing!).
Here is more info on the design of the pillow:
In addition to bed pillows, they offer many other products to help relieve back pain and help you get a more restful night’s sleep! I want to try out the ContourSleep Lumbar Pad next!
If you are looking for a way to make your bed more comfortable and accommodating to your needs, I recommend checking out the products that Relax the Back has to offer!
***Disclaimer: While I was not paid to write this review, I was provided the product free of charge to accommodate the review process. Opinion are 100% my own.***
You are so right – it’s difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and having the right bed and pillos makes ALL the difference. I’m glad you were given the chance to test it out!
oh that sucks that you have difficulty finding a comfortable position. Score on the free pillow though 🙂
Not to be too funny but that pic of the pillow reminds me of a pair of lips LOL
I have been wanting to try the memory foam type pillows for awhile, but never seem to find one I like enough to take the challenge. This goes as well for the memory foam beds. It has been quite awhile since I awoke to the feeling of a great nights sleep. I imagine that is part of getting older. Do you think combining the two (bed and pillow) is overkill? Are they designed to work with each other?
