All in all, I have definitely noticed some improvements pain-wise. I have really cut out the amount of processed foods I have been eating. Instead of something quick like Pop-tarts for breakfast, I am eating organic, high-fiber cereal with fruit. Lunch is usually tuna w/ veggies or organic pasta instead of frozen Lean Cuisine meals. Dinner has been hit or miss with our schedules lately but I think things are finally calmed down since John has finished his speed week class so I’m hoping to break out some of my cookbooks to try out some new recipes soon! I have also had enough energy to start working out again which has been great! The only disomfort I have really dealt with this is week is some GI pains which I think it related to the increase in fiber intake which hopefully should resolve itself soon! I’ve been tracking my meals and activity on Fit Day which has been really helpful as it does all types of graphs and charts of calories eaten vs calories burned, calories vs. RDA%, etc (which is wonderful if you are a visual learner like me!). So if you are looking for something to help in that area, definitely check the website out!
I got the “offical” results from my mammogram this week in the mail and while I was initially disturbed, I think it was the same as what was expected. I am still up for a 6 month redo to make sure that nothing has changed (which I am so excited about let me tell you). I go see my reg doctor for a follow-up on June 19th so I am sure we will talk about it then too!
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
I am delurking to say that I am so glad that you are seeing some improvements.
