So I am totally not a happy camper this morning. I talked a big game last week and totally failed. The scale decided that 163.8 is today’s lucky number which adds up to a gain of 2.4 lbs. I am so tired of this yo-yo thing. Today is WEEK 4 and I have yet to make any progress on my weight loss goals. I lose then I gain. I lose then I gain. It has gotten to the point where I am almost embarrassed to do my weigh-in posts just because I cannot seem to get anywhere. Its completely frustrating. BUT I’m still not going to quit.
Yesterday I started the Special K challenge. One, because it actually provides structure that I need. Two, it gives plenty of option. And three, I seriously think I could eat cereal for every meal. Of course I don’t. Basically I drink a protein shake for breakfast and have a mid-morning snack (which I must admit the Special K fruit crisps are awesome). I have a meal bar for lunch (which actually fills me up). I get another afternoon snack (which usually consists of some string cheese and whole grain crackers). Then I get dinner of my choice.
I am totally ready to get back to exercising but I don’t see that it the near future. I am off my crutches but stairs still kill me and I’m sore by the end of the day (and I have a desk job!). Maybe in the next two weeks. I saw an ad for this workout series and for $10 have to give it a try. It should come in just in time for me to start working out again!
