Holy Cow I am so excited! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I hopped on the scales this morning! My diet has been ok. I’m still trying to figure out what I can and can’t eat so my choices may have not been the wisest when I did eat. I’m still battling some major nausea so I’m sure that has helped with the weight loss – not exactly the way I want to lose but for now I’ll take it! I met with an AMAZING dietitian yesterday so I finally feel equipped to tackle the gluten-free world by storm!
Anyways, back to my exciting news – My weight today is:
144.4
I seriously wanted to scream when I saw it! I have officially hit the 20 pound mark! I am so motivated now to totally kick this challenge’s butt! This week’s mini-challenge is drinking 64 ounces of water a day for 7 days (started on Monday) and I haven’t been doing well AT ALL. I just can’t kick the soda habit! I seriously need a 12 step program!
As you know we were on vacation last week and after I uploaded our pictures I was so happy to see that *I* was finally able to recognize and acknowledge my weight loss in my pictures. In my mind I know that I’ve kicked butt and lost now 20 lbs but I was still very insecure with my weight and appearance but after seeing these pictures I definitely gave myself a pat on the back! So here’s to kicking butt & losing that last 20 pounds!
