I just finished packing up and tomorrow afternoon I am heading south for my first visit to Type A Conference in Atlanta, GA! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! The schedule of sessions is extraordinary as well as amazing sponsors! Did I mention that Disney Parks is one of the conference sponsors? And that their Social Media Managing Editor is giving the keynote address? And they are hosting a reception Saturday night with surprise guests and lots of pixie dust? My little Disney heart is going pitter-patter pitter-patter!
While I know I am going to meet tons of amazing people at the conference, I am also excited for the chance to meet up with a couple local bloggers to carpool to the conference with. Goodness knows Atlanta traffic makes me need a valium or two!
One of my traveling companions is Jessica from Begin to Craft and Savvy Southern Parent! Jessica is currently a Full-Time Science Nerd for a Soap Company, Christian, Pastor’s kid, Wife +10 years, Mom of 3, that lives a eco-friendly life on a small farm in Lincoln County, NC just northwest of Charlotte in the gorgeous Lake Norman area.
My other traveling companion is Denise from Go Cheap or Go Home! Denise is in Charlotte, NC, with a frugal lifestyle, full of food, fitness, and family fun.
