Chronic Fashion: Finding a New Style for Fall

For my birthday a few weeks ago, my fabulous parents took me shopping while we were at the beach and I came home with these two fabulous pieces:

Old Navy Black Moto Jacket

Black Lace-up Boots for Fall

Source: ShoesPie

(These aren’t the exact same as the boots I got but are very close)

These were both definitely on my wish list but now that they are in my closet, I need some ideas of how to create a complete look! Since starting the disability process, my style has been most definitely on the back burner and I am lucky to get out of yoga pants more than twice a week. However, I am determined to get a back in the game and rediscover my style called chronic fashion. This past week has probably been one of the worst flares that I can recall in a very long time. Believe it or not, I have even struggled to be focused enough to browse Pinterest (the horror!) but I play around on Polyvore a little bit and came up with some possibilities:

Fun & Edgy Night Out Look!
Comfy Rocker Chic
A Soft Feminine Heart With An Edge
What do you think? What outfit ideas do you have to share that can build upon either (or both) of these pieces?

I’m not exactly a Miley fan, but I like this picture of her with a maxi skirt and combat boots:

I’ve been wondering how I can transition my maxi skirts into fall wear. I like the combat boots, but I think they only work because of the slit.
