My Favorite Things – December Edition

Today’s post was inspired by Katie over a Cleared for Takeoff. She was listing some of her favorite things so I decided why not share mine! I love reading about what others are loving so I thought we could swap some ideas ๐Ÿ™‚

old navy shirtOld Navy T-shirts. I probably have an unhealthy obsession with ON t-shirts. Stacy & Clinton would definitely not approve but they are so comfortable, cute, and simple. Its so easy to throw on a pair of jeans, a v-neck t-shirt with a cami, and a cute necklace and feel good. And I have a feeling my collection will be growing after Christmas (yay!)

yoga pantsDanskin Yoga Pants. Seriously I have lived in these on my medical leave. They are so comfortable and for only $11 at Walmart you can’t beat it! I hear people rave about Lululemon and as much as I would love to try them out, its just not in our budget, but I cannot imagine them being any more comfortable than these pants! They wash up great too (and believe me I have washed them dozens of times since I bought them).

Kat Von D eyeshadowKat Von D eye shadow palette in True Love. This is seriously the most gorgeous eye shadow palette I have ever owned. I love all of the colors – especially the purple color (3rd from the right). It is the perfect shade and has lovely flecks of gold in it. My only wish would be for the beige color (1st on left) would be larger because it is the perfect base color and I always run out too quickly! At a price of $34, it is a bit pricey for my taste but the colors are vibrant so you don’t have to use much at all so it really is worth the cost!

rusk flat iron sprayRusk Thermal Flat Iron Spray. Seriously this stuff is A-MA-ZING. I have thick wavy crazy hair and this helps to make it so much moreย manageable! And I am always worried about damaging my hair with the flat iron so this really helps protect my hair. Plus it helps keep my hair straight so I only have to flat iron every other day! Awesome.

And last is what I have been lusting over . . .

new balance toning shoesNew Balance Toning Shoes. I want these so bad. If I rake in any cash for Christmas, these WILL be mine. They just look so comfortable and are so cute! I live in sneakers because of my leg pain so I think these would be great to add to my collection ๐Ÿ™‚ So if anyone is looking for last minute Christmas ideas…LOL.

What are some of your favorite things this month?

I love the danskin pants, I lived in them last year when I was sick. I have every style and color. My favorite thing about them is I can wear them to the dr or for a quick errand without feeling like a slob in her pjs.

Totally loving your list….$11 yoga pants! Totally getting some. And the Kat VOn D makeup looks awesome (is there a website…or will google work??) And I want a pair of toning shoes so bad…I’ve considered throwing an adult tantrum in hopes of hubby caving in, but something tells me the answer will still be no! And I haven’t tried the ON shirts- but they have such awesome priced apparrel- you may have just inspired me to do a little shopping.

I am totally going to have to check out the Danskin Pants. They look great and you can’t beat the price. I live in my UGGS during the winter. Not the most stylish things, but they keep my feet so warm and I HATE being cold.
