Last year I really enjoyed creating (and then crossing off) my 10 things before I turn 30 list so I’ve decided to step my game up just a bit.
I have been seeing “Bucket List” pinboards floating around Pinterst so I decided to put together a Bucket List of my own with some things that I would like to accomplish in my life time.
Some I have already completed, such as:
I walked down the aisle to a song my husband wrote for me
I spent time in New Zealand in 1997 as a student ambassador! Loved it!
There are some things on my list that need to be worked on every single day:
There are some, however, that are very specific events that I would love to have take place:
I most definitely had to throw this one in there
This last one is where I really plan to put a lot of focus on in 2012! If you’ve ever looked up the guidelines to donate your hair, most specify that hair cannot be dyed and well, if you’ve followed by blog for any length of time, you probably know that I have dyed my hair practically every color in the rainbow and should probably seek treatment to overcome the addiction. Therefore, I never ever thought it would be possible for me to donate my hair until this week. I happened to be flipping through the calendar and I realized that I haven’t dyed my hair since July when I chopped all my hair off into a pixie cut and I haven’t dyed it since (which was a shocker even to me). So, my goal of 2012, is to really concentrate on being able to cross this one out on my bucket list which means to grow it out as well as avoid coloring! So if you ever seen me whining about wanting to do something with my hair, please remind me of this post!

What are some things on your bucket list?

Love your list!!
If you can’t stand waiting for Locks of Love, Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths is a bit less restrictive, as I recall. Our mama donated all of our hair several years ago. (Yes, she saved all of our ridiculously long pony tails!!)
my most specific ones are financially related. the fitness ones have been achieved and “celebrate our 50th anniversary” is gonna take some time any way you slice it!
Yeah – the 50th anniversary is definitely a long term goal
I really need to set financial goals as well but I’m just not sure where to start.
Jamee those are all great bucket list items! I specifically love the marriage as beautiful as my wedding one.
That is one of my favorites too! I think sometimes when you’ve been married a while you forget some of the small things that mean so much!
I love your list!
I’m pretty sure Locks of Love will take dyed hair, just not bleached. And even if they can’t use it, they will sell it to other companies as a way to raise some money.
I’m thinking about donating my hair again, too!
Katie
We could totally team up! You can Gibbs-smack me when I mention cutting it
Good luck! I’m not sure my hair would get long enough to donate to Locks of Love even if I never cut it again, but it’s a lovely idea.
I love this! Somehow I have missed the bucket lists on pinterest! Beautiful pics too. So jealous you have been to New Zealand!
New Zealand is truly amazing! I spent 1 1/2 weeks in NZ and then 1 1/2 weeks in Australia! Both are amazing but I just fell in love with the beauty & culture of New Zealand!
