I cannot believe that I am now 31! For some reason turning 31 was a lot harder mentally than turning 30. I guess now I am officially “in my 30s.” Last year I hoped by starting a new decade that surgeries would be behind me but unfortunately that wasn’t the case but a girl can hope that maybe the next nine years will be, right?
My birthday started off with my favorite flowers and an iced coffee from my beloved husband! My IC doesn’t really care for coffee so I don’t drink it regularly but it is a nice treat every now and then! It was a fabulous start to the day although by 11am I may or may not have been found giggling to myself at my desk from the caffeine high 🙂
My parents, sister, and niece came to visit for the weekend so it was great watching the girls play together all weekend! It was, however, exhausting and definitely reassured me that there was no way my body could handle two kids right now! The giggles and conversations were so much fun to eavesdrop on and my heart completely overflowed as we peeked in and saw them hugging and telling each other that they were best friends! Swoon!
