Halloween 2011 Recap!

I know today is Wednesday which should mean What I Wore Wednesday but I’ve been a slacker and didn’t take any pictures this week. I actually sported some cute outfits but forgot to take any pictures (oops). I promise I’ll do better!

So instead I’ll share what Abby wore this Halloween! She definitely was more into the holiday this year! Last year she was excited and satisfied with one sucker but this year it clicked that there was more candy involved! She was so happy to see her bucket get full!

We have always carved a pumpkin for Halloween but this year she became really attached to the pumpkins:

Abby and her pumpkins

So we decided to leave them alone! She has to greet all of the pumpkins when she gets home. We have two big pumpkins and five little ones which she calls the daddy pumpkin, the mommy pumpkin, and the baby pumpkins. The babies are her favorite 🙂

The plan this year was to wear two costumes – one for school and one for Trunk-or-Treat but she decided she loved being a cat so we just stuck it that one! I loved catching this on my phone as she was showing off her outfit to her teachers:

The only thing we added for Trunk-or-Treat was glitter in her hair which she thought was awesome!

I think she is sad that Halloween is over. She asked to wear her kitty shirt today and wanted candy for breakfast (she truly is my child).  She did however catch a glimpse of a Christmas toy book that we got in the mail so I think her sadness will be short lived 🙂

And no recap would be complete without taking a look at Abby’s past Halloween’s and see how much she’s grown!

She seriously could not be any cuter. I’ve never seen someone pull off a cat outfit so well.

Maybe they like them because they can carry them around? I’m surprised she hasn’t tried to smuggle one to school yet! LOL

  8. That little tutu kitty is adorable. I love that all these little girl outfits now come equipped with tutus! I hope those little baby pumpkins last through fall. It’s cute that she thinks of them as a little family.

This was the first year I’ve seen them around here! We picked out a big pumpkin first but when she saw the little ones she said we couldn’t leave the babies behind 🙂
