Going to make this post short and sweet as I’m not feeling too hot today. Felt a little better about hopping on the scale today but I’m not thrilled about the week’s results as far as goals go.
Here are the results of my challenge goals:
- Stay off the scale except on Wednesdays for check-in! This is all about non-scale success, yo! – Check. Only hopped on this morning. Scale read 125!
- Operation Quit-Soda-For-Good. Its time to get rid of the chemical-ridden deliciousness for good! There are plenty of other delicious drinks that are actually GOOD for me that I could be drinking! Decent. I’m trying to swap out soda for healthy juices. I know water is best but baby steps right?
- Do low-impact cardio 3-4 times a week. I really overdid it last Wednesday in yoga (which I was so proud to post about) so I could hardly move the rest of the week which coupled with the really cold temps was not good. I haven’t gotten to the point of understanding my body’s limits yet. You would think after 7 years I would get it but I don’t. Why on earth I thought it would be a great idea to do a 40 min yoga video (Jillian Michaels no less) and think that my body would be ok was beyond me. So I didn’t get the minutes I would have liked.
- Add strength training and/or yoga, 2-3 times a week. See Above.
