At the beginning of last summer, we purchased our first home! Like I have previously stated, we purchased a foreclosure so we have put quite a bit of elbow grease into making this house a home (and have quite a bit left to go!). It seems that shortly before foreclosing, the previous owners built-in the carport to add an additional living space. All of the big things were completed (there were walls and windows and nasty carpet) but a lot of the small things were left to be done which is where we are at right now.
We thought that this space would make the perfect playroom for Abby. It would give her a place to hold all of her toys and run wild while leaving our living room a relatively adult space (at least in theory). The problem is that the only light switch in the playroom is on the opposite side of the room that you enter on. So on these dark winter evenings you have to walk through the room in the dark and feel your way around for the light switch. Not fun for adults but it left Abby wandering around in the dark until we realized she went in there and could turn the light on for her.

This product has made our lives so much easier! No longer do we have to search in the dark for a light switch plus Abby can go into her playroom and actually be able to see what toy she is looking for (plus seeing the light kick on lets us know where she is! Sneaky little thing!). Plus once we turn on the lights in the playroom, the Mr. Beams Anywhere Ceiling Light shuts off!
